Anyone interested in putting together a SB dive for Rememberance day? It's on a Wed. this year. Group decision of course but I'm hoping to go somewhere different like Ogden Pt. in Victoria or Tuwanek (any other suggestions). If the weather sucks we could always have a more local back up.
Any interest?

Tuwanek sounds good, ill see if I got anything going on that day but most likely id be up for a couple dives.

I'll put forward three suggestions and see what others think. I'd be good with any of them. I plan to start trying to do at least one "destination" dive each month now if any others are interested.

Ogden Pt. Victoria. Lots to see on the breakwater. Depth from 0 - 80'or90'. Cost $90/vehicle + 27/person return.

Tuwanek, Sechelt. Visit Shrek and Donkey. Depth ? Cost $40/vehicle + $12/person return.

Mannion (deep) bay, Bowen Island. Apparently lots of old bottles and stuff. Depth to 60'. Cost $27/vehicle + $12/person return.

Iv never dove on Bowen Island before and done the whole Ogden point breakwater many times and Tuwanek is a big hit all the time. The south island at tuwanek is a great deep dive lots to see along the legdes into the abyss and the north island is where sherk and donkey is and there are supposeibly wolf eels and octopus there but only seen Octopuses on the south island. I know if we go to Tuwanek I can get a group together to all meet there and they all like the site to.

There's a chance I'll be out of town on Nov. 11, but if not, then I'm in. I haven't done any of those sites, so they all sound interesting, but the cheaper Ferry to Tuwanek would be nice.
