To all of those men and women that were there on that day, and that served our country in the days, months, and years after that, we thank you.

My great grandpa was there on that day, and he was one of the lucky ones. I'm not old enough to remember his stories, but luckily we have a video tape documenting it all. Very sobering to watch an 80 year old man recount a day from what was practically his youth- and still cry about it.

As it was said, it is a date which will live in infamy-- and here we are, so many years later, and its something we still need to remember, with honor, pride, and sadness. Keeping those affected in my thoughts and prayers today.
