Doing some research on regulators. Trying to decide what to buy and I was wondering if their is any governing body that conducts official tests and ranks the different regulators?

:D Thrilled to be diving!!!

The US navy approves regulatros based on certain criteria and the EU has certain criteria (that are often counter to good perfromance in a regulator) for regs sold in member nations.

Then you have Rodale's Magaizine that tests regs and rates them, but their criteria, test procedures, politics and advertising bias as well their heavy reliance on subjective views of a small number of testers makes them a bit controversial.
