holding the purge.

seriously though, if it's fine tuned well enough (or worse enough?) if turned upside down, you could get enough water pressure on one side of the diaphragm to force it to push the lever just enough to leak a bit of air. When that happens, some of the water in the second will be pushed out. When that happens, there will be less force inside the second than before, and more force onthe diaphragm, more even than made it leak al ittle. This means it leaks a little more, and a little more. I think actually the leaking process would occur exponentially rather than linerally come to think of it. Hm, try figuring that out while narc'd.

In my case it usually means I bumped the purge on my octo (bungee too short). But it is detuned enough that the freeflow will stop immediately on its own as soon as the purge is released.
