My parents and I dive together and own some of our equipment, but not regs. We always rent the regs. Many times there are leaks, usualy in the console, console hose, or inflator hose. Is this a common occurence for those of you who own your equipment or is this just in rental regs?

Nothing should be leaking, period. If anything on my rig is leaking I call the dive and fix the problem.

Nothing should be leaking on rental gear.... personally, I'd find another shop if I continually got malfunctioning rental gear. There's no excuse for that.
