The NiteScuba recently just launched a new high quality diving video light for the underwater photography market.NiteScuba S1. This dive light has a lot of interesting functions that most dive lights never have .So I would like to share the innovation point for you guys.
NiteScuba S1 has a compact and light weight design .It only have 235g underwater with battery inside. High quality metal CNC process, Hard anodizing housing ,making it the high end diving flahslight.
Most of the diving flashlight in the current market competing with high lumen, more waterproof depth . more longer burn time. But they all ingore the higher CRI (Color Rendering Index). NiteScuba S1 use the CRI 90 COB LED as the main lighting source. And let's see what's the difference between LOW/HIGH CRI LED performs when you shooting a photo.
As you can see the high CRI get a more colorful pic. more attractive than the lower CRI.So the high CRI is KEY to a underwater light source. And You know why these lower CRI working poorly?
For a photographer . The Sun Light is the perfect light source because it covers a long period of wavelength from around 320-700nm, And when you shooting a subject ,The light reflects back to the CCD or COMS.The sun light has a CRI at 100.So .The higher CRI, The higher capability to restore true colors.
