reg ? still learning the concern is the zeagle envoy usealed first stage would it be ok diving all florida fresh and salt water how cold or dirty does the water have to get before i opt for going to the zx/ ds-iv i want to stay with zeagle just trying to stay on trac with price. always 100ft or less also some shore diving in lakes would sand be a problem thanks. sorry to bother one more thing got a 13 year old son wants to start any ideas on regs and early preperation before i send im to learn what age can he get certified?

I dive the DSIV with the ZX second stage. I chose this model because of the sealed first stage and the heat sync in the second stage. Salt water will not do the unsealed first stage any good. But, if you are faithful to your gear and clean it religiously after diving, you should not have a problem with Envoy's unsealed first stage.

The other advantage to the sealed first stage is they are very hard to freeze up in cold water. But, considering you are diving in Florida, I doubt you'll have much problem there. Whereas, in Missouri, that is a very real possibility.
