Refurbing shockcord w/ new rubber
Is it possible to just replace the dried up original rubber & continue to use the nylon shoot line. If yes what type of rubber is used. Shirly regular latex isn’t strong enough for decent pressure right.
If you want to provide any advice like type of tubing,inside diameter (nylon is kindof thick and any type of strength rating & possibly a link.
My search results where just selling the whole cord the cord is fine it’s just the rubber I would like to refurb.

I believe the shoot line cord can still be used like there’s string inside it, since the eleastisisy is worn out) it just won’t stress the kill as it was designed for.
This cord also has metal keeper rings from JBL.STB
