Looking for a Padi Instructor in Kauai for my wife to finish her open water cert while we're on the island... Anyone know anyone?? Thanks for Looking. Going to be on the island , May 16-24

Have you checked with any of the three PADI dive shops on Kuaui?

Were checking but they want the same amount that the shop back home is charging to get the class and two pool dives done. Doubling the cost to get her cert.. She'll just need the two open water dives with an instructor

Hmmm. PADI OW certs require 4 open water dives; has she already done 2?
It is not unusual for the four open water dives (which must be done over two days) to cost about the same as the class plus confined water work, especially if the four dives are from a boat.

Don't think of the four certification dives as doubling the cost; it is more accurate to think of them as the rest of the total cost.
