Has anyone on SB ever participated on Reef Check?

I have just completed a rather intense course run by the marine biologist at Emirates Diving Association (EDA) and will be involved in helping with some local reef checks around UAE. The qualification that I have earned also allows me to participate in any Indo-Pacific reef checks, so I am looking forward to helping out elsewhere too in that region.
The course was very much an international affair as the marine biologist is Portuguese, and the participants were two Iraqis, one Iranian, two English guys, an Egyptian, two Canadians (father and son) plus myself.
