A compilation from our week aboard the M/Y Longimanus safari boat in the Egyptian Red Sea. Encounters with Hammerheads, Oceanic Whitetips, Grey Reef Sharks and many other marine life. It was a great week with good weather except for a heavy storm with lots of rain, lightning, wind and waves.

The sharks (hammerheads) were hard to film because of the depth. The Red Sea water temperature was very high (31 degrees celsius), so they stayed at almost 50 meters. Nevertheless we were able to capture some nice shots.

Many thanks to the M/Y Longimanus crew and all divers onboard. Enjoy this new underwater film.

Very cool. It looks like there wasn't too much current. What time of the year was that? Also, what were those things jumping out of the water at 6mn? Also what was that at 15mn20? A dugong?

September, so in our opinion best month to go. Currents were there sometimes but we were lucky. Jumping things were dolphins and yes that was a dugong.
