Does anyone know what part any dive boats played in the rescue of passengers of The El Salaam?

I avoided diving for recreation on the Salaam Express last time I was in the Safaga area as I felt very uncomfortable about the recency of the event.

However in this case was there any chance that divers could actually help?

Divers couldn't help here. The water is 400 meters deep.
Up till now, the survivors are only 401 out of 1415.
