Hey, folks...a little advice, please. I'm about to complete my PADI Open Water, and am already registered for the AOW class. For the AOW, we have to provide primary, back-up, and marker lights, plus a knife and slate. I will be diving primarily in central Texas lakes such as Lake Travis...12-15' viz being "good."

For this, I was considering the UK Tribal light pack, which includes the primary, back-up, and a Blue Tang knife. ScubaToys has it for $300.

Is this a good choice? I welcome any input...insight...thanks!!

I would go with LED lights. The batteries will last longer, the LED will laat forever and the LED emits a white light instead of yellow like an incandescent bulb.

I am not sure if UK's Tribal light pack has been moved over to LED or not.
