am thinking of purchasing the following equipment and would appreciate feedback and or recommendations on this gear.

OCEANIC GT3 W- CDX5 REGULATOR
OCEANIC ISLANDER BCD
OCEANIC AIR XS 2 ALTERNATE INFLATOR COMPLETE
OCEANIC VT3 DIVE COMPUTER W-TRANSMITTER

Are you going to do most of your diving in the B.C. area? If you are going to, I would recommend an Oceanic Excursion (more lift capacity, while wearing thick wetsuit and heavy weights), the GT3 is a great reg, but, for those conditions I would maybe go with a good Apeks reg (due to cold water and unsure of what the GT3 cold water rating is), I would also suggest an independent octo (for the same reason as primary).

My 2 dive buddies and I all dive the VT3 wrist mounts. It's very convenient to be able to check buddy-air for both of them. We've been totally happy with ours.

I have and am happy with the:

OCEANIC AIR XS 2 ALTERNATE INFLATOR COMPLETE
OCEANIC VT3 DIVE COMPUTER W-TRANSMITTER (wrist mounted)

I use the Delta4 Reg and the Excursion BC and love them all.

I use the Oceanic Probe LX BC, which I find outstanding. My BC has the AIR XS 2 and it works fine. It may take a bit to get used to the configuration, but works great. ScubaDiving mag has a good write up on this alternate air source and it seemed to have been rated well.
As for regulators I like the AquaLung Legend, but that always comes to preference.
