After many years of diving with rental equipment, my husband and I want to get our own gear before our upcoming trip to Mexico. We'd settled on the Zeagle Envoy because it has great reviews and comments and is in our price range. Now it seems that it isn't going to arrive in time and we haven't been able to find it immediately available elsewhere. :banghead:
We're recreational warm water divers. Is there another regulator that's as good as the Envoy and doesn't cost too much more? The LDS is trying to sell us the Brut, but I don't like what I hear about that one.

Walk into a dive shop in Florida and buy one. Im sure there are plenty of Zeagle folks nearby!

Our local dive shops either don't have any in stock or don't carry Zeagle. The LDS authorized Zeagle dealer ordered two for us, but they tell me that the factory has none in stock and is waiting for parts which may or may not arrive in time.
We found two Envoy Deluxe in Palm Beach, but we'd rather not make that long, expensive drive.
I'll try scubatoys.
Does anybody have a suggestion for a second choice regulator?

I've dived sherwood (Oasis) and XS Scuba Trimetal. Both reasonably priced and well made. Any reg should be bench-tested before it is sent/handed over to you. Some get out of calibration if they sit too long.

Give me a call at 813-887-5712. I run a shop in Tampa, FL and can get you what you want today. We are a Zeagle dealer and have everything IN STOCK.

If you call me quick enough, I can ship it to you this afternoon.

The Sherwood Brut is not a balanced 1st stage but any other Sherwood regulator like Oasis will work great for you and is inexpensive.
