My wife and I are going to Bali and Lembeh in August. She gets cold very easily so I'm going to get her a 5mm. Any recommendations?

I like my Bare Velocity 5/4. calf and forearm seals and an adjustable skin neck seal. Very comfortable and going strong after about 75 skin dives, hasn't seen scuba yet but I plan to use it as appropriate. Bare also has a mess of sizes to work from. The 5/3 hooded vest is a great add on.

The Hyperstretch are the most comfortable... but they are a bit proud of them! It seems that overall, men don't mind suits that are harder to put on, but women flock to the hyperstretch when comparing them to normal suits.

My wife & I have custom 5mm two pc suits from Aquaflite. Relatively easy to put on (because of the custom fit) and warm (also because of the custom fit).

Has anybody checked out the ultradry from Henderson?

That's actually... Insta-Dry. And right now, they only have limited sizes in 3mil only. I really doubt they will have the 5 mil out before your trip.

Hi, I have a Mares Thermic Evolution SemiDry 5mm.

It's a three piece wetsuit: one full arm, full leg hoodless suit that's perfect for warmer dives, one hooded shorty and one spare hood.

If you get a good fit you can almost remain dry... I usually have to yank the neck ring to accually allow water in, to cool down. I highly recommend it!

Bare makes a Hydro Stretch suit ( stretches four ways) in a 5mm. We sell a lot of them to women because they get cold so easy. They only run about $180 and come in lots of sizes, even ones to fit tall women. Ask around and do a search on the boards for Bare suits. I have been wearing them for years ( even before I opened a dive shop). They last, comfortable fit, excellent customer service, nice colors and high quality neoprene.
