Most computer manufacturers offer some type of computer for under $200 or close to that. Aqualung has the i100 for right at 200, the Mares Puck Pro is $169.95, and the Oceanic BUD is right at 200.
 
You could buy a used or deeply discounted console, get a wrist boot for the gauge, hack it apart, and use it...

I have used a mini-console tucked away on my rig if a depth gauge was so important.

BTW - what are you intending the gauge for? If it is a back-up, how are you correlating dives previous to your current nitrogen loading state?

That's what I use. It really is a great bag. $40 on amazon. Several of my local shops sell them too, but they charge closer to $100.

I try to support dive shops when I can, but in this case the markup they're taking is completely unreasonable. They've been on amazon at around that price for years, and obviously a profit is being made or it wouldn't be sold..
