Hi everyone.

In September I qualified as a PADI Divemaster at Red Sea Relax in Dahab, Egypt. I've got just over seventy dives logged, all but six of them are in the Red Sea. The other six are in the Med (Cyprus)! I'm officially only a Rescue Diver as I won't subscribe as a DM until January, otherwise I'll be charged again. ;)

I'm currently back-packing in Japan (with a load of diving gear on my back!) and am hoping to dive somewhere fairly local with a decent reef while I'm here. Okinawa is too expensive to fly to, but Jeju is looking promising. I want to see sharks!

Oh yeah, I'm obsessed with sharks, but then, aren't we all.

Hi Rancid, I hope you are having a blast of a time in Japan. You must considering diving in South Africa as well....Lots of sharks on the Kwazulu-Natal South Coast, and the Pound/Rand exchange is very favourable for you as well.

welcome aboard

Thanks guys.

To be honest I'm not sure about South Africa. Asia and South America are higher up my list of places to see, but I'm aware that there are sharks off the SA coast.
