While I was certified in 1973 I have recently started diving again with a live-aboard trip to the Maldives. I am interested in equipment development and have begun a serious effort to extract the huge amount of energy present in the tank. Why should we carry big batteries when there are tens of millions of joules in the tank being wasted in the first stage?
