RECALL SITECH INFLATOR HOSE
As confirmed by Trelleborg Corporate, each regional Trelleborg office will assist all customers to make this an easy transition as possible. Trelleborg Viking will be supplied with the new inserts from SITECH within the next 7-10 days. As we want to make this easy for you as possible, you have 3 choices in replacing each black/blue back flow restricting insert to a green insert:
1. You can contact SITECH directly for this exchange
2. Trelleborg Viking can send you the green insert at no charge and you can follow the directions that SITECH has confirmed
3. Dealer/End User can send the inflator hose back to Trelleborg Viking and the insert will be exchanged at no charge
We encourage you to notify all end users immediately so they can receive this information in a timely manner as this is a safety concern. We know this will be a difficult task in notifying all end users that have purchased a Viking Suit that included a SITECH inflator hose from 2006 thru 2009, but we will try and make this as easy as possible not only for you but the end user. Please note that all Viking Suit orders are currently on hold until we can include the new inflator hose. We are still building suits accordingly and hope that this will only incur a 2-week delay.
