Hello All-
I am hoping to crowdsource a user friendly map of rebreather and technical diving support facilities. The purpose of this map is to make travel for technical and rebreather divers easier by showing locations that support technical and rebreather diving. This map is aimed at facilities that are able to provide any/all of the following:
-Compressed oxygen (high purity)
-Compressed helium (high purity)
-Compressed oxygen compatible air
-Booster pumps
-Cylinders suitable for technical and rebreather diving (doubles tanks, stage tanks, rebreather tanks and drysuit tanks)
-Suitable diving grade CO2 absorbant material
-Technical equipment rental/repair
-Dive support, in the form of vessels, training, safety divers, etc
Other facilities are strongly encouraged to be added for emergency management planning:
-Recompression chambers closest to the facilities
-Hospitals local to the facilities
https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msi...0.797201,-49.746094&spn=137.916754,241.699219
If you are willing to participate by either adding your facility or adding facilities that you know provide quality technical diving and rebreather support please go to the following google map link. Once you are there all you have to do is type in the address of the location in the search bar, and then click on the pin that has dropped and click "save to map" and add it to the "Technical and Rebreather Diving Support Map" - it would of course help if you add what sort of support is available, and any links.
Thanks for your participation,
Elliott
