I just received my new BCD Latitude xlt and i can't believe that it has no rear valve. The rear valve in this bcd is optional and i didn't notice that when i ordered the bcd from the internet.
That means i can't buy the rear valve from my LDS and i can't order one from aquqlung. Is there any internet shop where i can find the rear valve?

I've had a lattitude for about 3 years & have never felt the need for a 'kidney dump' although I know a lot of divers use them. I'm looking to upgrade my Lattitude to either a new one (with the Surelock system rather than the velcro intergrated weights) or a Pro QD i3.
Anyway, you can order the valve (part no. 42754) from any stockist. Try Simply Scuba in the UK.
Hope this helps.

i've been diving with a latitude XLS for about 4 years now and had the same problem when i first got it. Fortunately the BC has 2 shoulder dumps. ( pull cord on the right, and the low pressure inflater on the left) Just take the right shoulder dump off along with the butt dump cover on the bottom right and switch the two. The fittings look a little different but they both screwed right on and now i have a butt dump. Problem solved ;) hope this helps.

I use a Latitude XLT with a rear dump. Why not send it back and ask for one with a rear dump? It's a hell of good BCD with the Surelock integrated weight system. I would be interested to know why it's an option. Doesn't make sense to me.

**correction on my last post, my BCD is an XLT as well**
but like leapfrog said, the surelock integrated weight system is fantastic. I see alot of different set-ups on the boat i work on but i have to say, Seaquest/ Aqualung has got the best weight system out there.

I ordered a dump valve from simply scubaThank you for the response.
