Ok folks, I am trying to plan another trip to Rock Lake. For those not aware, Rock Lake is in Lake Mills, Wisconsin and is only "clear" right before the ice forms and right after it clears. Looks like the ice will form Late December so I want to plan a 3/4 day trip up to Wisconsin flying out on Thursday night or Friday morning then returning on Monday.

If anyone wants to go, give me some dates. It is definate dry suit diving. We would fly into Milwaulkee on Airtran and drive over from there.

Last time I found Pulkaswa pits, two stone structures that couldn't be identified with glacial remains (at least in my mind) and the wheel from a Model A ford...:)

You can read my report at http://www.scubamage.com/files/rock_lake_rpt.pdf.

I want to delve into the deep section of the lake where the "stone teepees" are located (supposedly).

Any up for a bit of underwater archeology?

Mike
