I'm finally ready to introduce myself!!! My name is Chris Hecker and I live in Brainerd, Minnesota. My wife and I own a towing and recovery business. I have always liked scuba diving, and i'm tired of watching someone else hook-up my cable to whatever were recovering,(car, boat, snowmobile e.t.c.).I started using scubaboard for info only, but sometimes it's hard to keep my mouth shut,(about my opinion)!!! It took a little while to figure out that i'll be able to "hold my own" in this forum,(scubaboard.) Everyone seems to have their own opinion, some VERY STRONG, on how the best way is to do a task, or what equipment to use. So I think I'll be able to "swim with the sharks" here in the scubaboard!!

Hi Chris,

Welcome to SB from another Minnesotan. I'm in the process of obtaining my OW Cert. and everyone has been extremely informative.

Sounds like you have interesting plans for the future of your company. Best of luck.

Pam

Damn, I was hoping you were going to go dive with the real sharks. lol Well, welcome to the gang anyway. There is a lot of good information here, just have to sort through the junk sometimes to find the good stuff.

You sound like you'll do just fine.

I'm sure you'll do fine! We do have a few passionate folks here, though.

Be sure that you dive safely, especially when you're recoving things from dark lakes. Not much room for error up there.

Welcome to the board,
Grier

It's addictive, but who cares?!?!?

Good friends and good info. What could be better???

P.S. - If you have not already done so, please fill out your profile.

I agree with Quarrior. I thought you were really diving with sharks....

Hi Chris and welcome to Scuba Board. Glad you liked what you saw and decided to introduce yourself and stay. Yes, some of us have very strong opinions, but they stem from our passion for diving and all related. Don't worry, we don't bite :)

Sounds like you have an interesting company, be careful out there.

Safe diving,
Maria
