For instructors: How much time would you say is needed to read up to get ready before starting the PADI IDC, provided the books, instructor manuals etc. are purchased. Is there a lot of self study prior to the IDC. I will most likely sign up with ProDive this fall. My background: I became a DM in 1995 but did not enjoy assisting/teaching in Colorado, I burned out and dropped out of the active circuit.
