Hi

I am borrowing a friend's BC for a trip and want to make sure I understand the Ripcord before I go. He did not have it set correctly, zip-tied shut actually...

I downloaded the BC manual from your site and believe I've got it right. I've tested it standing and it seems to work fine. My question has to do with the ends of the Ripcord itself. Do I end up with three inches or so just loose that gets tucked up into the BC?

Does this look correct?

I just did mine too it goes up into the bc there should be another web loop/strap thing

OK thanks guys.

For some reason the video won't play for me.

Just to clarify though:
The end of the Ripcord is not "secured" in any way; it just tucks away between the layers of fabric and the tension caused by the weights resting on the cord loops is the only thing that holds it in place, correct?

That's correct...
