I am getting ready to purchase a Balance (Seaquest) BC. Right now I have the ProQD+. How difficult will it be to remove and re-install my airsource/ inflator hose to the new BC?

The hoses should be the same length so if you unscrewed the setup from the QD it should screw right on the balance. No big deal........IMO. Post your results.

You don't need the entire hose. Just unscrew the clamp on the Air Source and hook it to the inflator hose on the Pro QD.

You don't need the shoulder fitting, but you DO need the whole hose.
The Airsource hose has a separate attachment point for the inner cable (for the pull dump) at the midpoint of the hose, which allows you to operate the pull-dump while breathing the reg.

I just realized how easy it is to just unscrew the whole thing at the shoulder. I guess you just screw it back on hand tight, without any type of sealant, right?

Thanks for the replies,
