It also works for the a640, a640 and a couple of the other Digic II powered cameras. It's a soft mod hack anyway- written to your SD card, not your cameras internal firmware, so you won't have to worry about warranty issues etc.

Any downsides to doing the upgrade that you've found? I'm a little hesitant to use 3rd party firmware on my camera.
