I have the iColor and found you need to keep spinning it for quite a while.

Set declination first and the start the calibration. Put it flat on the table and spin it until it prompts you to flip it. It took a while on mine, but got there.

Which way did you spin it? Clockwise or counter? What declination setting did you have? Direction east or west? Ratio has been good with getting back to me in emails but I'm still not getting mine to calibrate. They told me it may take a few min to do.
 
Clockwise.

Declination 1.5 degrees West, which is correct t for Perth, Western Australia.
