Can you please let me know precisely what the differences are between the Ranger and the Ranger LTD BCs and what extra features the LTD has over the regular Ranger BC? I don't see the differences in the website.

Forgive me for a moment while I copy + paste from the Zeagle website, I know you said you looked there but it helps to form the basis for my description. This is from the Ranger LTD product page.

The new LTD now comes standard in Black or in Smoke Gray, a good looking, rich color that compliments any suit or other gear color combination. The shoulder is designed with the new super duty Airloc buckle that will (1)swivel to adjust the harness to the body’s contour to eliminate binding and restriction of movement at the chest and underarm areas. With the addition of harness type webbing and (2)a new threading arrangement the diver can easily add more D-rings and other accessories conveniently on the shoulder. This feature will now allow the technical and accessory minded diver to further set-up his BC to what he needs for the type of diving he is doing. We have also added a (3)right-hand shoulder dump with a pull knob located conveniently on the inside edge of the right shoulder pad. The dump valve acts also as an additional safety overpressure valve.(4)Available in Smoke Gray or Black as standard

  1. The shoulder section is articulated, meaning that it can swivel to adjust itself to your torso. The standard Ranger, and pretty much all the rest of our BCs, has a straight shoulder cut from a pattern.
  2. That shoulder section also has a length of webbing that you can weave yourself (if you choose) to add, move, and remove D-rings and other little accessories. Compared to the Ranger which has the same 2" webbing sewn directly to the shoulder section which you can slip some D-rings with an opening through, this method can accomodate any 2" D-ring.
  3. The Ranger LTD has an additional right hand pull dump valve bringing the total number up to four, compared to the Ranger (and our other BCs) which only have three.
  4. You have two color choices for the Ranger LTD, straight Black or Smoke Gray (pictured on the product page)

Added features of the Ranger LTD.

  • A lumbar pad is permanently mounted in the rear of the vest section
  • A pair of 18lb capacity shot pouches are included
  • An extra set of (5)vertically mounted D-rings are positioned ideally on the vest for mounting extra cylinders or accessories
  • Two additional(5)1.5" D-rings are located at the bottom rear of the vest
  • A (6)Zipper attachment system mounted inside each wing of the bladder allows for the attachment of a variety of carriers and accessories, including Pony bottle carriers, Spare Air carriers, extra pockets, and grommet panels
  • Accessories can be easily changed for different diving requirements. Check out some of the currently available accessory attachments and other features.
  • (7)Expandable zippered utility pocket on front of vest
5. More D-rings!
6. This is probably the most significant feature of the Ranger LTD, the zipper attachment system. Sewn directly to the bladder cover of the Ranger LTD is a zipper that matches up with a group of accessories that are then tucked in nicely between the wing and vest. For example, we have a 6 cu ft pony bottle pouch that would allow you to zip on to the BC and then unzip to easily bring to the fill station.
7. In the waist band you'll find a mesh pocket that is tucked away until you unbutton and roll it out. Extra storage when you need it, hidden when you don't.

I hope that helps outline the differences. Let me know if you need any clarification on the features.

Thanks but I just found out that the LTD isn't available in The EMEA market :(

Yea, CE is an effective trade barrier, as my dad says.

However since being included in the Huish Outdoors group we are going through the CE certifying process to add additional BCs and Regulators. I don't have any timeline for this nor do I have a list of products that we're getting certified, but I can confirm that we're going through the motions now.
