We are staying at Misool Eco Lodge in Feb '20 and would like to stay another 5-7 days at another dive resort after Misool. Our research indicates several good resorts 1-2hr boat ride from Sarong. Any recommendations?

Easy transfer, either their boat or the public ferry. The second and last ferry to Waisai departs at 14:00.

We stayed and dived with Kri eco which is right beside Sorido Bay. Never stayed at Sorido so cant compare but Kri was more less expensive and a very good standard. No air con but watervillas with a good breeze and amazing diving at a reduced cost. ( for Raja)

Just got back from Papua Paradise. Would go back, everything went well. Good guides, good diving, good accommodation and good food. No AC, but you are on the water with a breeze so not needed.

Has anyone stayed at Raja Ampat Biodiversity Resort? They seem to be much more flexible and also much cheaper than the other resorts. Any reports?

I stayed there in late December of 2018. Great staff and personalized diving. They also have an amazing house reef.

If you would like to be around Waisai area (most of the dive sites 5-10 minutes), I can arrange for you to stay at Korpak (Brand new resort).

Mamberamo Dive Resort about 1.5 hr away from Sorong, and another 1hr away from the famous view point in my DP. This resort is next door to Papua Explorers, but fully air condition and brand new.

I was just on a boat in Raja Ampat with a couple who was with Papua Explorers for a week before the boat. They loved it.
