I'm volunteering my time to help a new island open up in an area known for its exquisite diving (i.e., the Tuamotus of French Polynesia near Fakarava, Rangiroa and Tikehau). It's named Blue Pearl Island and it's inside the Kauehi Atoll.

Think whale sharks, manta rays, schooling sharks & dolphins as well as the chance to ride the current when the ocean pours through the atoll passage into the lagoon.

We just kicked off one of my recent ideas...to hold a diver-friendly raffle for an all inclusive stay on the island including 4 days of diving with rental equipment. We're only selling 1,500 tickets at $20 each so your chance of winning is quite high.

Plus, we're contributing 20% of all raffle ticket sales to the Coral Reef Alliance (a diver-created 4 star charity working to save our reefs). I think this makes the raffle a win for everyone.

I'm happy to answer any questions as well.

Cool! Do you offer non dive activities also? My boyfriend doesn't dive (though I'm trying to get him to try it).

Yep. There's snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, land and sea tours (coconut farm, black pearl farm and more), massages, fishing, birdwatching, barbecuing and just lazing around.

btw, riding the current when the ocean pours through the atoll passage into the lagoon that I mentioned above? You can also do this fun ride when snorkeling so your boyfriend would be able to do it as well even if he refuses to come over to the dive side. :)

That's great! We bought 2 tickets. If mine wins, he learns to dive. If his wins, he doesn't have to. lol
