Some rather unsettling news for divers in South Africa. Seals have apparently been getting more aggressive in recent years, and 17 individuals have tested positive for rabies. There's real concern about it spreading to other marine mammal populations both around South Africa and elsewhere in the ocean.

The number of Cape fur seals infected with rabies along the Cape coast has increased. The disease can be fatal to humans.
