got one, trying to decide if I like it any better then the R295 I use as a backup. No wait, I decided, I like the R295 better.
 
carribeandiver just curious why do u like the R295 better if you dont mind asking.
 
If you do some searching, I think you might find that for the most part, the R295 and R395 are essentially the same reg. I dive an Aqualung Legend on singles, and I had intended on purchasing two MK17/R395 combos for my doubles. After one dive with the MK17/R395, I ended up getting a MK17/S600 for my primary and use the R395 for backup.

The R395 is a capable reg, but it is unbalanced so will not get the same performace as you would out of a balanced reg like the S555 or S600.
