I just bought the TG-3 and cannot wait to try it.

I do have some questions and would also appreciate any tips.

I shoot 75% video and 25% stills. Most of my shooting is in the less than 40 ft range. I generally at those depths do not add lights.

Questions:

Would I use the underwater presets in the camera or rather choose my own settings with custom white balance.

What settings should I use if I do not want to be using lights and strobes.

What settings should I use if I do want to use a video light

Thanks

Craig

I can speak only of the TG1 so I can tell you that the video is good without a light. For some reason the color seems to come out better on video than on stills. If you are good at using manual settings then I suggest using them. On my TG1 I set one of the custom modes for micro and manual white balance, this seemed to work good enough.
