They do exist but you have to have a full face mask (sometimes refered to as a FFM) to use them.

There are also things that will clip on to about any mask that only recive. My instructor uses them when he is teaching a wreck class.

I remember seeing one in a LDS a few years ago that didn't require a FFM. It had a rubber cup that went between your mouth and the reg. I thought it was a BuddyPhone, but couldn't find it on their site. Don't have any idea how well it worked...

I picked up a pair of 2-way sets, pre-owned but advertised as never wet, but we haven't used them yet. Last trip was in Florida around Labor Day 2004 (need I say more?). So, looking forward to trying these next trip.

I'm not sure what you're looking for - these use wireless ultrasonic between units, bone conduction, and do not have a cable between units.
