Most classes are 4 days long but lately some instructors have done them over two weekends. You will find that you learn to rely on your own brain more and less on a computer that was built by the lowest bidder. You will learn what actually happens inside the computer and use that to run your dives. Good luck. Find some local DIR divers and they will be more than happy to dive with you if you express an interest in learning.

The standard class is four days.

no need to apologize for questions.

If you look around in this forum and go back for a while, including reading the stickies, you will get some great information.

Most of what you want to know is already here somewhere :)

Good luck in your quest.
