Is it ok for DIR divers to dive with non DIR divers and is use of a computer strickly forbbin?

the use of a computer is not necessary once you learn the system. I used one for a while after taking training. It was like having training wheels. Then you realize you just don't need them.

how many days does a DIR f class take
Most classes are 4 days long but lately some instructors have done them over two weekends. You will find that you learn to rely on your own brain more and less on a computer that was built by the lowest bidder. You will learn what actually happens inside the computer and use that to run your dives. Good luck. Find some local DIR divers and they will be more than happy to dive with you if you express an interest in learning.
The standard class is four days.
