I tested the Aqua Lung Legend LX regulator and notice the exhaust tee resting against my chin. Granted it was only a few minutes so I don’t have a good feel if this is a problem. Does this happen to you or is it just me? If it does happen, is it comfortable or uncomfortable? Do you view it as a benefit or a hindrance?

I am accustomed to my Sherwood regulator having approx ½” between my chin and the exhaust tee. However, there is a constant pull on my mouth in the direction the hose is routed causing my teeth to fatigue. So I thought one possible benefit is the AL Legend regulator has a place to rest thus reducing the torque on the teeth and gums.

Any thoughts????

My Legend is my favorite reg. And I find the exhaust T resting against my chin to be comfortable. In addition to taking any pressure off my teeth, it also keeps my lower lip a little warmer in very cold water.

Greetings from a fellow NJ Diver!

I dive Legend LX Supremes, and have never noticed the exhaust tee resting against my chin. Not saying it does or doesn't, as I don't recall. Just saying if it does I haven't noticed it.

I did however swap the mouthpiece out for the Atomic Comfort Fit mouthpiece, as I found the one on the Legend to really cause a lot of fatigue and discomfort.
