I'm thinking about heading over to Fiesta Americana is November and will be travelling alone. It would be a package deal w/ 2-tank morning dives and unlimited shore diving for the afternoon. My question is this:

How easy would it be to connect w/ people to go shore diving with (I'm not solo-certified and do NOT want to dive alone) ??

Thanks in advance for any replies.

It would probably be as easy as catching a cab to Caribe Blu and hanging out around the dive shop for a while. There are always folks going out on Villablanca Reef frrom there, and tank and weights will be about six bucks.

I agree with ggunn. Caribe blue will probably be one of the most active shore dives since the hotel is right there and the dive shop is as well. The hotel and dive shop seem to encourage walk ups. I was just there 5 months ago and will be again in 3 weeks and pretty much always saw divers going in and out all day. I can't wait to be one of those divers again! :D
