I thought it would be neat if in a few short sentences everyone would explain why they had that one BEST dive?:D

My Best Dive : For some reason or not, it was with a good friend. Nothing speacial about the dive, it was who the dive was with. Just brought our friendship to a higher level of trust and respect.

whats your BEST dive????:06:

Thanks EL Orans, I figured this was a better topic,

Everyone has that one dive that they cant forget. Whats yours?

Im not from New York and every dive is awesome but if I had to choose it would be my first ow dive when a blue gill came up and tried to eat my hair. All I could think was how cool it was to be able to see this whole new world.

Punta Sur, Sur in Cozumel, after spottting a shark in the blue, we followed the reef to a depth of about 100 ft. Coming out of the coral formations into the deep blue as if opening a theater curtain, a dozen reef and black tip sharks made their appearance. That was breathtaking!

I have best dives by category:
Visibility: Provo, Turks and Caicos.
Wall: Provo, Turks and Caicos. It's like my favorite movie. The Abyss. Diving near the wall and you look down..it's black...The wall drops to like(3000 feet??) and the next thing you know I am lower and lower..bam 92 feet doing Open water.

Big Fish: The only one so far Koh Lanta, Thailand (Giant Manta). Diving/Swimming with a giant of the sea was awesome. They are so gracious under water.

Most Relaxing: Night Dive near Phi Phi Island. First night diver ever, scared. Jumped into water became the most relaxing dive. You only look at one spot and that's where you pointing your light at.

So it's hard, I enjoyed and liked a lot of dives. If I had to pick one I would say diving with the Manta Rays, April of 2005, Koh Lanta.
