I just don't log dives
Just booked a trip in May 2010, but now I keep hearing that the road noise is really bad. Is this true? The dive op gets great reviews every where I look, and I realize the hotel is basic, which is fine for us. Just wondering if I made a mistake-is the noise really a big deal? Thanks!

My wife is super-sensitive to noise, and we stayed there about a year ago. In her words, "don't worry about the road noise, the air conditioner will drown it out!"

We enjoyed staying there and diving with Blue Angel.

I have been at the Blue Angel since Saturday and haven't noticed the road noise at all.

You could call ahead and request a room on the ground floor and you won't hear anything from the street. The ground floor rooms are not open to the street...only the upper floors are. I prefer the 1st floor at Blue Angel.
