Got an Emperor Liveaboard booked for January.
Has anyone found an insurer that covers the cost of quarantine if its enforced on you i.e by someone testing positive on the Liveaboard and everyone on the boat being classed as close contact so having to go to government enforced quarantine for 14 days as has happened to others?
Im struggling to find an insurer, only seem to cover you if you test positive.

Hi
Where/when did you read about 14 days quarantine as close contact?

From what I’ve read, if the island/resort (didn’t check for boat, since we’re going to Fuvahmulah) has a positive case the island/resort goes on a “positive list” and you’re not allowed to go to any other island/resort until they remove it from the list (finish tracking for contacts) - this can take a day or 3 or 10.

But if you’re leaving the Maldives you’re able to get a test and travel (provided the test is negative of course.)
