Hi,

We are opening a new dive operation in Puerto Vallarta on 31st March 2011.

PV Sea Dive is going to be a personal fun experience with a maximum ratio's of 4:1 for certified divers and 2:1 for beginners. Small in beautiful.

About us......... after leaving England in 2008, we did our instructor training on the west coast of Mexico, then worked at the dive college for a while before heading to Borneo. We had a amazing time diving and instructing, but missed the Mexican life.

So, if you want to get the best out of your diving in Peurto Vallarta or doing a course, come and see us. We are a Padi dive resort (2262) and are highly qualified Padi instructors, have tons of experience and will ensure the highest level of customer service.

We would love to hear from you if you have dived or snorkelled here and would love any feedback you could offer us.

We are truly loving our time here and have found home.

Many thanks,

Sue and Marie

My wife and I just returned from PV where we were on vacation with our son and his family at Velas Vallarta (all inclusive time share resort). We dove twice (two 2-tank dives) with PV Sea Dive and found them (Sue, Marie, Mark and Captain Carlos) to be excellent and very accommodating. One suggestion: Add a camera bucket to the boat. I really liked the limited number of divers (we checked out many shops in PV on Scubaboard, Undercurrents, and Trip Advisor, and most were cattle boat operations combining large group snorkeling and diving aimed at cruise ships). On one dive (Marietas) we had only three divers, and both Sue and Mark were with us to point out nudibranchs of various shapes and colors, critters and fish for photos. On the other, we had the max of 8 divers plus our non-diving two grandkids (2 and 5) and daughter-in-law. The kids and their mom were put ashore (with snacks and lunches) on very nice beaches to have fun while we dove. The divers were split into two groups by experience. When one of the divers in our group used up his air, my son, wife, and I were allowed to continue our dive (we all had about 1/2 tank left). We saw lots of green (big) and jewelled eels, puffer fish, (large) scorpion fish, and small critters, as well as one turtle and a spotted eagle ray. The only problem was the visibility, which was limited (20 - 30 feet). Marie and Sue said that summer visibility is much better. Given our experience (the low visibilty), we'd probably not choose Peurto Vallarta as a dive-only destination, BUT if we were to return to PV, we'd choose PV Sea Dive every time. Thanks, Sue and Marie (and Mark and Carlos), for a fun experience and for being a professional and accomodating dive operation.
