Hey all,
Just wanted to report got back from two days of diving with PV Sea Dive. As others have mentioned really a great operation. The are one of the better diver operations I've been with as an advanced diver. The first day there were two folks finishing an OW class so I got to do a solo dive with Sue. They limit bottom time based on air consumption so we got about 50 min under water. the second day there was 3 of us and we were all advanced divers so we just took it easy and had a good dive. No constant checking in about your air and you went up when your buddy went up as opposed to when everyone was out.
As for the sites - the first day was Los Arcos. It's a pretty nice with a swim through and a really impressive canyon at around 80 feet that I guess drops to 1000+ ft. Saw lots of eels, sting rays, nudibranches and sea horse that hangs out where you drop. The second day was Majahuitas - an isolated beach past Los Arcos. Some really nice topography on the bottom and since it had a bit of a current felt like a drift dive.
The conditions were generally good. Vis seemed to average 15 - 40ft. the temp was quite variable (which is i guess is common this time of year) changing by 10 degrees depending on the thermocline. i was in 7mm which felt right...
