Hello Scuba Divers!!

We are in mid December and the water conditions are good all over the bay! nice mid to upper 70´s still 30 to 60 ft visibility in some areas outside the bay, El Morro, Corbeteña. Good amount of fish in the range 40 to 80 ft.

Seen different kinds of bottom dwelling rays (shovelnose guitar, giant electric ray, butterfly ray) and pelagic too (Golden cownose and Giant manta).

We¨ll be keeping you posted with the activities and diving conditions from Puerto Vallarta Puerto Vallarta Scuba Diving and Specialty Diving School: PVSCUBA

Great update!!! Thank you.

I will be in PV at the of January and am looking to schedule 2 days of diving in Majahuits and Marietas. Are you still running these trips in January ?

Staying at Paradise Village in Nuevo Vallarta the 1st and 2nd week of March. Can you please respond to the following?

1. Where is your location from Paradise Village?
2. Do you have a pickup from a nearby pier (I think they have one)?
3. What would be the two shortest 2 tank dive trips you have?

Thanks, Jon

Hello Jon,

We're located at Marina Vallarta, about a 20-minute drive from the Paradise Village.

Sorry, we don't offer pick up at the pier in Nuevo Vallarta.

The shortest trip is to Los Arcos. We depart at 9am and come back around 1:30 or 2pm.

Regards

Alex from PVScuba

Today at Los Arcos we completed 3 Open Water Diver certifications. Congratulations to Robert, Jason, and Dale! They excelled in their performance even though conditions were demanding.

Water temp 78F and viz 20ft. With the cooler water temps more rays are starting to show.

Happy Diving!

Alex, just a short note to thank-you for the wonderful (exceptional) experience over the last three days while completing my PADI Open Water Diver certification.
Not often does a business's website live up to its "claimed" contents - in the case of PVScuba, in my opinion, you not only met your claims but went well beyond!!
Anibal was a pleasure to work with - patient, understanding and meticulous with his training approach - making it a very enjoyable experience.
You and your Team have made it possible for an "old man" to check one more item off his shortening "Bucket List" .... many thanks!!

Dale

Thank you, Alex and Anibal. It was a wonderful experience getting certified with your dive shop and the subsequent open water dives. We look forward to diving with your outfit again in the future.

I will be arriving this tuesday feb 11, 2014 and planning on diving El Morro and Marietas. Whats the water temp (will a 3mm fullsuit be ok?).
