Hi and Welcome to the board
If you have a look at the active threads in the Philippine Paradise Divers Forum, you will see that several of them talk about Puerto Galera. There is a rather large number of Scuba Board members going there this March.
However, I hear that accommodation should be acted quicklyif you're interested in going during March.

Their website will give you an idea of the "middle price" range. PG is awesome....it has everything a diver needs. What classes or activities do you want to participate in while you are there (that is a loaded question!)?

Big Apple is a okay....if you want to hang out (don't mind noise), drink, eat, establish short term relationships and dive a little then it is where you want to go. if you are there to dive try Asia Divers, Atlantis, Sabang Inn, La Laguna Beach Club. If you are bringing family then Big Apple might not work for you.

angelyns rooms are nice. I always pass by their resort. I think they are charging P 1500 - P 2000 per nite per room for 2 pax. they have their own restaurant and dive shops are also near by. I will be in PG 1st week of march.
