I'm a Fish!
Any of you Oly housing owners know what the exact weight of the lead counter weight is?, I'm looking to fabricate my own and save some money...any input would be appreciated..

I've got the same housing. I don't know what weight exactly is required (which obviously will also depend on whether you're going to use the camera in fresh or salt water), but have read from others that about 1/2 Lbs is what it takes to get it neutral in salt water.

I'm planning to figure it out by
- tieing a plastic bag to the housing
- taking it into the pool
- putting weight (e.g. coins or lead shot) into the plastic bag until it's neutral

To get the weight needed in salt water, I should only have to weigh the entire neutral setup, and add about 2.5% of that total weight.

Theoretically :)
