Hi all,

I have two PST HP120 Scuba Tanks with bands. These are the old 3500psi ones so they have 7/8in valves.

Also have a pair of OMS bands as well as a mount for a pony bottle.

Tanks are out of VIP (done last summer by Diver Dan's) but have Hydro for about another year. Both still have nitrox in them.

Asking 250 per tank and 50 for the bands. 500 if you can take everything at once.

I'm located in the bay area in California. I'll be in Monterey area on October 9th and could meet with someone there if they want.

Care to explain?
I don’t know the seller or the person who made the comment and am not saying they are dishonest but any potential buyer should know that PST tanks are under a special permit that is about to expire, meaning they cannot be hydro tested anymore so you’re buying tanks with only a year left. And I’m guessing some shops wouldn’t even be willing to visually inspect them either

in all probability though, something will get worked out as there are quite a few of these exemption tanks out there and the DOT PHMSA does not want to process exemptions on an individual basis

Seller and I agreed upon a price and a time to meet to complete the sale using the exact phrase, “consider this a done deal.” AFTER agreeing to a time and price for the tanks, seller tried to insist on adding a manifold onto our deal. Admittedly I had inquired if seller still had the manifold but that was after the “done deal” comment. The manifold was the inferior face seal style and I didn’t want it so seller backed out of our deal and sold to someone else without informing me they had changed their mind. Seller ghosted me instead of owning it. Not until I pressed the issue with my comment above and leaving a negative trader review did I hear back.
