I'm putting together a first trip for my non diving wife and myself to Turks and Caicos this March. Looking to spend a few days in Provo and then catching a flight to Grand Turk for a week. Currently looking at staying at Ocean Club West on Provo and Grand Turk Inn on GT, but open to other hotel suggestions. Any areas on Provo that I should avoid staying?
I'm looking for dive op suggestions for both places. From what I've read here, depending on were you go, sounds like longer boat rides to the dive sites off Provo, but shorter for GT. Should I be looking for ops with larger more comfortable dive boats or smaller faster on Provo? Dive shop proximity to the hotels top side would be nice. Any areas or dive sites off either location that are a must see?
Please comment on any other items that I should know for putting this trip together.
