Just received my boy today in the mail! A Halcyon stealth eclipse 30 lb with a black hard coat aluminum back plate #107-500.

Took a little while to adjust all the straps on it but after all said and done fits pretty good. I found it to be allot smaller than what I have seen on the internet which was a bonus.

I would love to cut off the extra strapping but was advised to wait awhile before doing so? And the inflator that came with the wings I guess that will be something for the dog to play with in the yard as I have my atomic Atomic SS1 coming on Monday.

I still can’t believe that I went with the bp/w but after reading all the positive reviews from the very experienced divers on the board and all the great advice I received from you all I had to get it!

I will let you know how my 5th logged dive goes this weekend!!

...you're going to put an SS1 on a bpw?

Yes, wait a bit to cut the extra webbing. After you get it all situated from a few dives (the webbing will stretch out a bit for the first couple of dives) then you can chop some off. Just don't chop too much off, because you can't put it back on...

I was going to get a Stealth Eclipse, but I saved a lot of money by switching to Geic...no, wait, I just bought a normal Eclipse. ;) I will admit though, those Stealth versions are very nice.

If you don't want that inflator, send it to me, I'm totally serious.

Hope your 5th logged dive goes great, you'll LOVE the new BC.
From one Eclipse owner to another-- :beerchug: :beerchug: :D

I want to see a picture of the BP/W with an SS1 on it. Don't get rid of that inflator. After you read more posts, you will end up switching back to a plain inflator and getting a full size back up regulator.

Trust me on this one. I speak from expensive experience gained in the last 12 months.

Hey now...don't do that.
He's sending it to me. ;)

Ok you have me worried here lol Does the atomic SS1 not fit on the setup I have??

It will fit fine. I have the Seaquest air source on my Wing. For travel, I really like the fact that it's 1 less hose to deal with. But don't worry, I still have the inflator that came with the wing.
